Using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS EV3 Education kits, campers will design, build, and program multiple robots while learning the intricacies of responding to input from sensors and manipulating multiple motors.

For ages 5-8, tablet-based programming using LEGO® WeDo 2.0 will be used instead.

Stop Motion Film

Plan scenes, build sets and minifigures, and record LEGO® stop motion films with techniques used by experienced film makers.

With guidance from the brickLAB staff, learn special building techniques to design and assemble LEGO® MOCs (My Own Creations).

Campers will learn the basics of either Python or Java to write simple programs. Once sufficient skills are developed, campers will be able to write programs to control LEGO® EV3 robots using their chosen programming language.

For ages 5-8, we offer a multi-discipline camp that involves exposure to stop motion film, robotics with Lego® WeDo 2.0, and MOCs/architecture building.

For ages, 8+ we offer Stop Motion Film and Robotics as seperate camps. Stop Motion includes architecture, set design, and MOCs (my own creations). Robotics camps use WeDo 2.0 as well as EV3 sets. Camps are geared toward the individual skill level of each camper.

For ages 12+, coding and development becomes available.
